Old villas usually have soul, and it is important that refurbishment does not lead to the house losing its uniqueness. We wanted the villa to be recognisable after its renewal. First impressions are important. An anonymous, classic hall was therefore transformed into a room that provides a more impressive appearance. The fireplace was refurbished, and the floor was covered with patterned Moroccan tiles in calm colours.
The use of colour was our most important tool in the renewal of this house. The classic, light dining room now has dark wood stain and green upholstery. Green curtains and green nuances in the wallpaper and ornaments together create a harmonious whole. In cushions and other small ornaments, we used textiles with geometric and pictorial patterns . The purpose is to give life and to arouse interest: the poof in the living room makes you stop and think - is it new or old? Black cushions with orange trim are a surprising element. The old villa is both transformed and preserved.
